Ruby Birns
Founder & Executive Producer
Starting early in her life, Ruby became inherently drawn to fine art photography through her mother’s cherished collection of monographs by artists such as Sally Mann, Dorothea Lange and Robert Mapplethorpe. Through her very early career working with the artists at Luhring Augustine Gallery in New York City, and in direct service to the painter / sculptor George Condo, she developed a keen interest in supporting the behind-the-scenes creative process for artists. With unique 360° insight and positioning from her time running creative departments in-house at Fortune 500 brands like Nordstrom and Ann Taylor; working in talent management at Ford Models; acting as a consulting Director/ VP for start-ups and established companies such as The Wall Group and Industrial Color/ Smashbox Studios, to freelancing for some of the most prestigious production companies in the world; she has been able to build a body of world-class photography, content, and motion work, while honing the pragmatic and affable approach she is best known for.
Rae Jackson
Producer
Los Angeles native Rae Jackson, comes to Production with a family history steeped in the golden years of Hollywood’s entertainment industry. Cutting her teeth on global live-event production with the industry leading festival company Insomniac; she worked closely with company leadership managing the motion teams covering some of the most prominent acts appearing on the stage today. During the pandemic, Rae pivoted to safety management, overseeing protocols for hundreds of commercials filmed in Los Angeles. Known for her precision and dedication, her humor and ability to set all parties at ease in the tensest of situations; Rae is an invaluable part of Rowan’s team and central to the heart of our productions
